In a unique celebration of love, Josh Radnor and Jordana Jacobs exchanged vows outdoors this month, embracing the wintry charm of a snowstorm. Despite the biting 20-degree air, the couple, surrounded by 164 snow-covered guests, embarked on a one-of-a-kind matrimonial journey.
Dr. Jacobs, a clinical psychologist, took center stage, delivering a heartfelt 10-minute monologue about her beloved. In response, Mr. Radnor, the 49-year-old actor and musician, reciprocated with a touching 10-minute soliloquy. The snow-drenched setting added a magical touch to this winter wonderland union.
Their love story, however, began in a setting just as extraordinary. In February 2022, at a sound meditation retreat in upstate New York, the couple, along with around 30 others, found themselves tripping on mushrooms. Masks covered their eyes as singing bowls and chimes filled the room.
In this altered state, Mr. Radnor and Dr. Jacobs initiated a unique connection. As they lay on the floor, a voice within Mr. Radnor affirmed, "That's her. That's your woman." Across the room, in her own psychedelic experience, Dr. Jacobs engaged in a heart-to-heart conversation.
Curious, she asked her heart, "What do you have to tell me?" The heart replied, "You know that man over there, across the room, Josh? You're drawn to him."
And so, in the midst of a snowstorm and the profound effects of psychedelics, Josh Radnor and Jordana Jacobs began a journey that culminated in a winter wedding as extraordinary as their love story.
